Goodbye Dad
This past wednesday my dad, David Dwight Mulligan, passed quietly into the night. The nurses said it was like he let out a sigh, and then didn't pull his air back in. One of the four with him was reading to him from Psalms, which I know he was thankful for. The service will be in Forrest City Arkansas. There is a plot there for Mom and Dad, right near her Father. I don't remember it at all, but supposedly it is a lovely place.
I am heading down there on the day after christmas. Taking care of things with mom and the brothers. Hopefully walking the Dogs, giving Kathryn hugs, and spending lots of time with my family. I have missed them this Christmas, and know that they miss me too. But you can't be two places at once.
I asked if I could talk in the service, and Mom said, keep it under 10 minutes. I think I did it. I am going to post it when I get back to Cincinnati. I have some more touch up's to do.
