David Rosenthal just sent me some images from the show he put together at Junior Gallery. Looking back at this piece now, I could have done more. That seems to be a constant feeling I have with the painted work recently. The projects require me to get more active in the painting. My outlines look week now, like I need a thicker brush to get quality strokes. The idea was a picknick with shooting asteroids. And for some reason there are 28 protest signs resting on the wall. I need a better aesthetic on these pieces. Better contrast, or at least new paint and not just use the reject colors from Home Depot.
research for the movie
Just moved to Cincinnati to teach art, can't believe they pay me for this.

1 Comments:
use glossy paint or laquer it. have blacklights and two huge lava lamps at the entrance. have what you think a meteor shower sounds like playing.
